I am an English ceramic artist living in Gent, Belgium. My work is generally figurative and usually combined with steel. Much of the work is interrelated. The main body of work 'Beyond The Lens' - is influenced by aesthetics from the ancient world and represents 'Things out of time' - recovered objects of a 'lost civilisation' - idols and statues of an ancient people, and their devices used for 'seeing' and communication.

Ik ben een keramisch kunstenaar uit Engeland, wonende te Gent. Over het algemeen is mijn werk steeds figuratief en meestal gecombineerd met staal. Het grotendeel van mijn werken is gelinkt met elkaar. De collectie "Beyond The Lens" is geïnspireerd door elementen uit de oude culturen en elk "a thing out of time" vertegenwoordigen. Het zijn gevonden objecten uit een vergeten beschaving. Ze staan voor idolen, standbeelden en communicatieve gebruiksvoorwerpen.
