Illustrator for Jazz op Zondag in STUKcafé

STUK is eager to provide opportunities for new illustration talent in its graphic design work. At STUKcafé, we organise free jazz concerts every Sunday under the name ‘Jazz on Sunday’. To promote these concerts, we produce two posters and a matching leaflet each season. To help design these posters, we are looking for an illustrator to create two drawings: one for the autumn and one for the spring. Together, these drawings will form a recognisable series.

You will work alongside our graphic designer on this project: you will provide the illustrations, and she will turn them into a poster in consultation with you. There is also the possibility of extending the assignment to other media for STUKcafé.
 

What are we asking for?

• An estimated price per drawing
• Three drawings that represent your practice or are relevant to this commission
• A brief statement of motivation: Why do you want to undertake this commission? What is your connection to Leuven or STUK?
