Kesselberg open air EXPO

On 19th of September art will turn the hiking trails on the Kesselberg in Kessel-lo into an open air expo. Througout the day, visitors will have the opportuny to wander around the forest, enjoying the artworks of local artist. All different techniques and materials are welcome (with an excaption of heavy pieces that could have an impact on nature). The aim of this exhibition is to be a co-creation of all artists. Towards the end if the day, there will be live music. During the day a little bar will be open to offer drinks to the visitors. 

This is not a professionally run gallery, but an open space for creators to come together and share the wonders of their art with the world. So with this open call we hope to attract artist who are motivated to participate in building to expo (finding creative ways to present their works in this unusal exposition space). Artists will have the space to present around 5 pieces, depending on the works. The space will be evenly distributed between participants, so every artist can fill it how they like.  A variety of styles and tecniques throughout the exposition woulds be most interesting.
 

Who are we looking for? 

• Local artists
• All techniques and styles are welcome, as long as it's an easy setup
• You can showcase old or new paintings, whatever you feel most passionate about sharing with the public.

Practical info

• Teamwork makes the dream work. We ask all artists to hang up/present their own works at the start of the day and to take everything down at the end.
• Artists are responsible fot the safety of their own work, as the exhibition will be held on public domain.
• Artists are free to sell their works on the day.
• Artists are not obliged to be present for the whole day, but of course that would be the most fun!

To take part in this open call, you must have an artist profile on Kunstwerkt.
Create your account, add your first artwork to your artist profile straight away, and take up the challenge!

You must submit a minimum of one and a maximum of three artworks from your profile.
The jury will select a maximum of two to three artworks per artist.
