StudioStar 2026
From Sunday the 30th of August 2026 to Saturday the 5th of September 2026, a new edition of the StudioStar Youth Exchange will take place at the Hoge Rielen Youth Centre.
Join a total of 50 young people from Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Portugal, Greece, Romania, Ireland and Finland to get creative on the theme of the prohibition of slavery, human trafficking and forced labour at the Hoge Rielen Youth Centre in Belgium.
For the fourth edition of StudioStar, we are drawing inspiration from Articles 2 and 5 of the European Convention on Human Rights, and we will explore these themes in greater depth through four creative workshops (dance, performance, screen printing and music).
Make your voice heard – discover human rights, shape your ideas and bring them to life in creative workshops.

- From the 30th of August to the 5th of September, including travel days
- For anyone aged 16 to 26
- The project will be conducted in English
- No prior knowledge of human rights is required, but a keen desire to learn is essential
- Participation is free of charge thanks to support from Erasmus+

De Hoge Rielen is a centre for youth, nature and adventure located on a former military base in Kasterlee. Within this unique setting, after all the effort, play and running around, there is also space to relax and engage in cultural exchange. In addition to nature experiences and adventure, the educational department is increasingly focusing on art education.
De Hoge Rielen is managed, together with Destelheide and Hanenbos, by ADJ vzw, commissioned by the Flemish Government.
