Colorboxes - Pink

An installation that explores the perceptual complexity of color. Color is here extracted from its functions and materiality and been transcended into space. The surrounding space is build up as a set, a theatrical decor where color can take the front stage. Light, color, the physical body and space is brought together in order to create an immersive space for the audience. The color boxes illuminate specific colors in a contained but transcending way into space.  The content of the color boxes find their references in Josef Albers color theories. Theories where he used illuminating visual exercises to dissect color in all possible ways.
