Does Beeld still exist?

No. RIP Beeld. Our online platforms Beeld and kunstwerkt.be have now merged into a single website. Showcasing your work, applying for open calls, and discovering other creators: everything you enjoyed about Beeld can now be found at kunstwerkt.be. 

I had a profile on Beeld. Where did it go?

All profiles on Beeld have been moved to kunstwerkt.be. But no need to panic: your work, profile photo, and bio have all been moved as well, and you can log in with the same details. If you notice something's not quite right, let us know at info@kunstwerkt.be. We'll help you out as soon as we can.

My artwork has not been transferred correctly. What should I do?

When you have put a lot of work into your online portfolio, it is not fun to see that something has not been transferred correctly. We apologize for this. Please let us know what the problem is via info@kunstwerkt.be and we will do everything we can to resolve it as quickly as possible. Don't worry: your work has not been lost. We have backups of Beeld and can still consult your correct data.

How can I showcase my work on kunstwerkt?be

By creating an artist profile and adding your visual work. You can choose to hide or showcase your work on your profile. Anyone who shares their work on their profile will automatically be included in the overview of all artists. Easy!

I don't see my work on the homepage. Why is that?

The website has its own algorithm that shows you new works every so often. It is designed to show you work that we think you will like. This means that everyone sees different art. You may not see your own work on the home page, but you may appear on other screens! 

I want to participate in an open call. How do I do that?

Before you participate in an open call, you must create a profile on our website. Once you have that profile, you can create an artist profile to add your work and participate in open calls. You’ll find the button to create or edit an artist profile under 'My Profile' and 'View my profile' in the top right corner of this website. Having trouble? Send us an email at info@kunstwerkt.be. We’re happy to help.

Tip: go ahead and add the work you want to submit for the open call. That way, it’ll be ready to go!

I took a shot at an open call. Where can I find my entry?

Under your artist profile, under the 'Entries' tab. You can still edit your submission until the deadline.

I have registered for Atelier in beeld. Where can I find my registration and studio?

We're looking forward to discovering your studio! Everything related to Atelier in beeld can be found at atelierinbeeld.be. There you can manage your registration and find other studios to visit. 

Something is not working as I would like it to. Where can I report this?

Oops, that's unfortunate. You can email us the problem at info@kunstwerkt.be or call us on (+32) 09 235 22 70. We are available every weekday from 9:00 to 17:00. 


I want to add my open call to the overview. How do I do that?

You can publish your opportunity online here! Once you’ve completed the full form, our team will do a final check. After that, your open call will be published in our overview.

I want to organise an open call, but I don’t know where to start.

Are there opportunities you refuse to publish?

Very rarely, but it does happen. Our team reviews every opportunity and checks whether it meets our conditions for a fair open call. If we see room for improvement and decide not to publish it, we’ll let you know and work together to find a solution.

I want to use the jury system on your opportunities platform. Can I get more information?
