Discover where art truly comes to life, on May 1 & 2, 2027. Atelier in beeld is the major open studio weekend for visual artists in Flanders and Brussels, organized by Kunstwerkt. During this inspiring weekend, more than 2,000 visual artists open their doors. Visitors can explore unique workspaces, meet the makers, and be surprised by their creations.
More than ever, the studio is a necessary place of calm and imagination. In a hyper-nervous society that constantly vibrates with stimuli and speed, the studio offers a counterpoint. A place where slowness is allowed and where hands do the thinking. Atelier in beeld highlights these spaces, not just as workrooms, but as sanctuaries, as moments to breathe, as spaces to process what outside moves too fast.
