These are the HUP 02 artists: discover our fifteen selected makers
Here they are: the selected artists of HUP 02! Earlier this year, we launched an open call to discover emerging visual talent. Out of hundreds of applications, fifteen creators were selected and will receive coaching while working on their artistic path. Curious to find out who they are? We are more than happy to introduce them to you here!
Hundreds of artists took their chance, and jury members Magali Elali, Jonas Nachtergaele & Ellen Janssens had a tough choice to make. These artists made a strong case and earned a spot in HUP 02 with their portfolios: Arno Camps, Cootje Veelenturf, Elias Peeters, Ellen Claes, Geert Thijs, Houda Ben Azzouz, Isabelle Reynders, Jolinde Deprez, Kaat Van Kerckhove, Lissa De Winter, Lucrecia Wang Jaramago, Lyra Oey, Miranda Pastor, Tato Greve en Zita Coltura. The group met for the first time at the end of November, marking the official start of the trajectory.
HUP 02 EXHIBITION
Over the coming months, the fifteen artists will continue to work on their artistic projects. They will present the results at the beginning of June. The HUP 02 group exhibition will open on 5 June 2026 at BLANCO in Ghent. Mark your calendars!
