Kunstwerkt supports visual artists who want to develop their practice, get inspired and expand their audience. We inform and inspire artists with projects large and small, the online portfolio platform Beeld, our magazine Kunstletters (in Dutch), as well as advice and training.

Kunstwerkt inspires and supports

... everyone who is enthusiastic about visual art

Through our online communication, with our magazine (Dutch) Kunstletters and projects like Atelier in beeld, we address everyone with an interest in visual art. Whether you are a sporadic painter or an artist who is passionate about art.

... non-professional artists

Kunstwerkt receives support from the Flemish government as a recognised amateur arts organisation for visual arts. We are one of the nine recognised amateur arts organisations in Flanders. Our services therefore focus on supporting everyone who makes art in his/her/their free time. But the enthusiasm of every artist is key: it would be difficult to make a distinction between professional and non-professional artists.
Are you a professional artist? Then Kunstenpunt and Cultuurloket can also provide you with support and advice.

... ambitious artists

Part of our programme is focused on artists with a certain ambition. Artists who not only want to create, but also want to show, share or sell that work. With the platform Beeld, via open calls, during events or training courses, we encourage you to take new steps on your path.

... driven by a mission

Kunstwerkt is there for everyone who makes visual art. We inspire, create encounters and challenge to (dare to) make and show. We match makers with organisations from our network and thus bring visual art to the general public.
