This artwork is inspired by Lake Kawaguchiko, located at the foot of Mount Fuji, where I undertook my first Mokuhanga artist residency in Japan. It represents both the shape of the lake as seen from above, like a satellite view, and the colours, textures, atmosphere, and vegetation that one experiences while walking around its shores.
