Meha Khanna

India

Meha Khanna is a self-taught artist who transforms discarded materials into 3 dimensional art pieces. Her work is driven by a deep concern for the environment and the urgency to live sustainably. Living in New  Delhi, India her practice began several years ago primarily as a mission to not add to the overflowing landfills. Influenced hugely by artists Aurora Robson and Crystal Wagner the works are vibrant and playful. Meha has been commissioned by a leading beauty parlour chain, an animal rescue centre and a few private individuals. She has participated in multiple group shows along with the indo austrian exhibit in New Delhi. She is currently exploring adding kinetic movement and light to her work. Her primary intention is to create art that influences the way people think and act about their consumption.
