Are you looking for an original way to introduce artists in your neighbourhood to each other and their work? Then Proefstuk might be just the thing for you.

During Proefstuk, artists get to know each other through their work. This inspiring activity is built around giving and receiving constructive feedback. Each artist brings their own visual artwork and, using a few playful methods, the participants take on the challenge in small groups. In this way, they meet fellow artists from their neighbourhood and go home with a new, refreshing perspective on their own work.

Important

Proefstuk can only be booked by (supra)local organisations in Flanders.
Proefstuk is played with a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 30 participants and lasts approximately three hours.

Practical about Proefstuk

Kunstwerkt provides

a detailed concept and ready-made programme
a content package so that you can promote the visual artists in your region
expert guidance for the activity
attractively designed feedback cards. These are used to record feedback – an important part of the game. Participants take these home with them afterwards.

As the organiser of Proefstuk, you provide

a suitable location (e.g. a room in a cultural centre or school)
promotion to visual artists in your region
ticket sales
communication with participants
welcoming participants
refreshments

Cost

450 euros (excluding VAT, catering and venue)

You can ask participants to contribute towards the cost of taking part in Proefstuk. This allows you, as the organiser, to recoup some of the costs and reduces the likelihood of cancellations. You decide how much the participation fee will be.
