Are you naturally creative, but don’t have the physical space to give free rein to that passion? Then claim a spot in our studio where you can get stuck into your own projects, at your own pace and in your own way. It’s all completely free!
Where?
Our studio space is on the first floor of the villa. It’s a space exclusively for young, creative people from Leuven. The inspiring view over our green garden comes free of charge!
Conditions
- You’re a painter, carpenter, musician, game developer, actor, curator, dancer, photographer, rapper, calligrapher, sculptor, jewellery designer, or something else creative ;).
- You live in Leuven or the surrounding area.
- You are aged between 16 and 26.
- You look after the space.
- You enjoy meeting other artists.
You can use the materials provided by mijnleuven. You’re responsible for providing your own other materials.

Mijnleuven is a youth initiative run by the City of Leuven for all young people aged between 15 and 25.
From our base – the villa – we give young people opportunities, space and a voice in Leuven. Both the curious young person and the big dreamer find their way here.
Come and explore, experiment, try things out, succeed and fail. Mijnleuven supports young people through every stage of their journey, with no strings attached. Through advice, funding and space, we work together to make young people’s dreams a reality. Mijnleuven helps young people with their own ideas and also offers tailored programmes to further develop their talents and creativity.
