Kunst in Huis is looking for new artistic talent

 Artist profile / what we are looking for:

• You live and work in Flanders or Brussels;
• You are at the start of your artistic career, a stage where you are no longer a student but have not yet built up years of experience in the art world;
• You have ambitions for a professional career in the arts and can demonstrate this with at least three exhibitions at relevant venues;
• A degree in art is not essential, but is an advantage.

How to apply?

• By 1 October at the latest, send a single digital application (1 PDF) to artistiek@kunstinhuis.be with:the subject line ‘Open Call October + your surname and first name’;
• The digital application (1 PDF) must consist of the following:
• a digital portfolio comprising an explanatory text and a CV; the portfolio gives us an insight into your work and your artistic development;
• a proposal of at least 5 works that you wish to make available to Kunst in Huis. (maximum 2MB per image)

You will receive confirmation as soon as your application has been successfully received.

Applications will be assessed by artistic director Vincent Verbist and De Goede Neuzen, an external jury of experts.

Collaborating with Kunst in Huis can give your visibility a significant boost amongst a wide audience of art lovers and a select group of art professionals. Furthermore, you will receive a modest fee when your work is loaned out and a higher percentage on sales than at most galleries. Any questions?
