Christophe Deroo (1983) is een veelzijdig kunstenaar (schilderijen, collage, illustratie).

Het vertrekpunt van zijn werk is de kracht van kleur, en het spel van licht en schaduw. Met als centraal thema de zoektocht naar het mooie en positieve in de wereld om zich heen.

In zijn werken is de inspiratie van filmische beelden en close ups nooit veraf.

Terwijl het spel van licht en schaduw, het kunstwerk een mysterieuze en surrealistische sfeer geven.

Bij het recentste werk ligt de focus vooral op analoge collage, die bewerkt wordt met meerdere materialen. Aan de hand van deze Mixed media techniek, vindt de zoektocht plaats naar de verbinding tussen verschillende beelden, die tot een nieuw geheel worden gemaakt.

Christophe Deroo (1983) is a versatile artist (paintings, collage, illustration).

The starting point of his work is the power of color and the play of light and shadow. The central theme is the search for all that is beautiful and positive in the world.

In his works, the inspiration of cinematic images and close-ups is never far away.

While the play of light and shadow gives the artwork a mysterious and surrealistic atmosphere.

In the most recent work, the focus is mainly on analogue collage, which is processed with multiple materials. With this Mixed media technique, the search takes place for the connection between different images, which are made into a new whole.
