I work with drawing, printmaking and watercolor, and occasionally with painting. My work often develops in series, where images are placed next to each other without following a predetermined narrative. I begin from intuition, repetition and experimentation, allowing the work to unfold over time.
During the process, images start to interact with one another. Connections and tensions emerge that are not consciously planned, but intentionally allowed. My choice of materials; pencil, linoleum, watercolor and paint responds to what the work requires, while small mistakes and moments of chance help guide the process.
I see my work as a space for interpretation. Looking and experiencing are more important than explanation. The work invites the viewer to discover their own connections and form personal meanings.
