A shadow is never still. Watch long enough, and you witness it breathe, the contour softening as the light diffuses, hardening as it intensifies, dissolving in one place only to reappear somewhere else entirely. The monstera shadow is patient. It asks you to be too.

Monstera II is about that watching. The slow revelation of a shape that was always there, waiting for the right quality of light to make itself known.

Part of the Umbrae Mundi collection
I love light. But I adore shadows. Shadows are not the absence of light. They are its most honest consequence. Rising and falling unnoticed, always presen—on every surface, at every hour. No one seems to notice them. Yet without them the world would be flat, without depth, without definition, without contrast.

Umbrae Mundi is a search for what goes unnoticed.
The unexpected beauty that exists precisely because
no one is looking.
