Umbrae mundi | Monstera II

A shadow knows things about a leaf that the leaf itself conceals. The monstera, so familiar in form, becomes something else entirely when light contours it: bold, unpredictable, down to its essence. Each placement a different revelation. Each angle a different truth.

Part of the Umbrae Mundi collection
I love light. But I adore shadows. Shadows are not the absence of light. They are its most honest consequence. Rising and falling unnoticed, always presen—on every surface, at every hour. No one seems to notice them. Yet without them the world would be flat, without depth, without definition, without contrast.

Umbrae Mundi is a search for what goes unnoticed.
The unexpected beauty that exists precisely because
no one is looking.
